SG60 🇸🇬 NDP song: Here We Are – Reimagined!
With Singapore celebrating SG60, we saw the perfect opportunity to reimagine this year’s NDP 2025 theme song, “Here We Are.” As a music school in Singapore, we are often seen as music educators rather than performers. But every once in a while, we feel the urge to show what we can do as musicians, too.
The original version, with its heartfelt a cappella arrangement, pairs beautifully with emotional visuals and delivers a strong message of unity. While we appreciated the musical direction, many of our students felt it was too slow and lacked the celebratory vibe they were hoping for. After all, National Day is a time of joy and pride. It should feel like a party!
So, our team of passionate music teachers came together to give the theme song a fresh twist. The result? A funkier, upbeat version of “Here We Are”! Perfect for celebrating SG60 with energy, excitement, and a whole lot of groove.
